Trent Rockets will be up against London Spirit in the 12th match of the Women's The Hundred 2022, set to be contested at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Saturday, August 20.

The Charlie Dean-led London Spirit has failed to get off the mark this season. They lost the opening match against Southern Brave by six wickets and were then handed a gut-wrenching five runs defeat at the hands of the Northern Superchargers.

Winless so far in the tournament, they are currently reeling at the bottom of the points table and would be looking to put up a better all-round display against the Nottingham-based unit.

Speaking of Trent Rockets, they kicked off their tournament campaign with a thumping 43 runs win over Manchester Originals.

However, after that, it was all downhill for them as they succumbed to two back-to-back defeats to find themselves placed fourth in the rankings.

Heading into their next fixture, the Natalie Sciver-led outfit would aim to snap their two-match losing streak and get on the winning route again.

Key Players

Beth Mooney: She is presently the leading run-scorer in the tournament, scoring 127 runs in two matches at an average of 127 and strike rate of 169.33.

Natalie Sciver: She played an elegant knock of 59* off 48 in the Rockets' most recent encounter against the Oval Invincibles. Overall, she has garnered 90 runs with the bat and has a wicket in two matches.

Alana King: She is the second leading wicket-taker of the tournament, having scalped five wickets at an excellent economy of 4.10 and strike rate of 8.

Pitch Report

The surface at Trent Bridge is known for high-scoring encounters and Saturday shouldn't be any different. The batters will look to attack the bowlers from the word go.

For the quick bowlers, a change of pace can do wonders. Both teams will ideally look to bowl first after winning the toss, with 150-170 being par at this venue.
