Southern Brave (SB) secured a six-wicket victory over the Trent Rockets (TR) in Match 25 of the Hundred Men's Competition on Thursday (25 August) at the Rose Bowl, Southampton.

Dawid Malan helps Rockets post a competitive total

Invited to bat first, the Rockets lost their key batters Alex Hales and Tom Kohler Cadmore early. However, it was the 51-run stand between Dawid Malan and Samit Patel, which helped the team to a great extent.

Malan hit 59 off 41 balls, comprising four boundaries and two maximums. In the end, the Rockets finished on 138 in their designated quota of 100 balls.

Micheal Hogan and James Fuller scalped two wickets each for the Brave.

Alex Davies' sensible knock secures a victory for Brave

In a dramatic turn of events, Paul Stirling and skipper James Vince were dismissed for a duck, which resulted in a bad start for the Brave. However, Quinton de Kock and Alex Davies added 44 runs for the third wicket, and kept the team in the hunt.
