In a momentous turn of events, the legendary England pacer Stuart Broad stunned fans by announcing his retirement from cricket during the third day of the fifth Ashes Test series against Australia at The Oval in London.

 
The 37-year-old cricketer, with an illustrious career comprising 166 Tests and tally of over 600 wickets, expressed his desire to bow out at the pinnacle.
