Shubman Gill Shatters Another Record
Asked to bat first by Jos Buttler-led England, India did not have a great start as they lost their skipper Rohit Sharma for just one. However, his opening partner, Shubman Gill, went on to score a brilliant 112 off just 102 deliveries, where he hit 14 fours along with three sixes to put the visitors under pressure.

To the unversed, Gill was instrumental in India's victory in the first two ODIs of the series as he brilliantly crafted two noteworthy knocks of 87 and 60, respectively. After playing the brilliant 112-run knock in the final ODI of the series, Gill has now scored 50+ in all three matches of the series.

This high-profile list also has former Indian skippers Mohammad Azharuddin and MS Dhoni, as the latter did so against Australia back in 2019 at the land Down Under. Moreover, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan have also done the same during their respective careers.
