Scotland vs New Zealand | 1st T20I | Preview, CREX XI

New Zealand, under Mitchell Santner, will play three limited-overs matches in Scotland between July 27 and July 31. The tour will kick off with the first match of a two-game T20I series at The Grange Club in Edinburgh.

Earlier this month, the Black Caps toured Ireland for three T20Is and three ODIs, claiming both series with 3-0 margins. Their upcoming series against Scotland marks only their second T20I assignment of the year and a testing ground ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia in October.

Scotland, on the other hand, is yet to play a T20I match this year. Their last fixture was against Pakistan during the 2021 T20 World Cup. Notably, they are one of the 16 teams participating in this year’s event.
