Coetzer feels this could be the change they need
"The report obviously showed some shocking findings.
But nobody should face racism and discrimination in the sport or any sport for that matter. And I know, being part of the playing group, we wholeheartedly hope that everyone can get through this, and I hope that things can move forward in a positive way.
There's a number of findings in there that need to be addressed and looked at so that'd be a good starting point."
Racism investigation conducted after allegations
Plan4Sport which conducted the investigation after cricketers Majid Haq and Qasim Sheikh alleged that Cricket Scotland is racist. The report found the organisation institutionally racist citing 448 examples of bias, causing entire board to resign after tendering an apology.
ICC should deploy working committee handling any kind of bias
The International Cricket Council should consider establishing a committee that would be heading and monitoring every organisation, and look for any kind of mishandlement of any issue. The committee should also look to ensure that a player from any region, race or colour regardless of their nationality should feel comforted in the world of cricket especially in case of South Africa.
