PCB Fined Saim; Aamir Jamal Pays 1.4 Million Rupees: Report
According to emerging reports, the PCB imposed hefty fines several Pakistan players for indisciplined conduct during multiple international tours and series.
A report by a reliable Pakistani journalist has claimed that the apex body collected around 3.3 million rupees through penalty on the players between the Multan Test against England last October and the South Africa series.
Experienced bowling all-rounder Aamir Jamal was fined around 1.4 million rupees for writing "Prisoner number 804" on his cap during a Test match.
Meanwhile, renowned players like Salman Ali Agha, Saim Ayub, and Abdullah Shafique were sanctioned 500000 rupees each, with PCB not tolerating their late entry into the team hotel during the Australia tour.
Similarly, Sufiyan Muqeem, Usman Khan, Abbas Afridi and some other pacers were fined 200 dollars each for returning to the hotel two minutes late than the scheduled time. Nevertheless, these players got their money back as reward from the PCB following the team's clinical whitewash over the South Africans in ODIs.
