In a historic moment set to reverberate across the cricketing world, the 'One World One Family Cup' is scheduled to unfold its magic on January 18, 2024, at the Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium in Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli. Spearheaded by the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission, this charity cricket match, a symbol of unity and shared humanity, is poised to be a game-changer.

The brainchild of the mission that tirelessly advocates for nutrition, education, and healthcare across 30+ countries, the 'One World One Family Cup' is not just a friendly cricket match but a profound statement of collective social responsibility. The esteemed occasion will witness the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium, graced by the presence of Shri Pralhad Joshi, the Honorable Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coals, and Mines, Government of India.

The captains for this monumental clash are none other than cricketing legends Bharat Ratna awardee Sachin Tendulkar and Padma Shri awardee Yuvraj Singh. Joining them on the field will be an illustrious lineup, including Harbhajan Singh, Muthaiah Muralitharan, Irfan Pathan, Chaminda Vaas, RP Singh, Monty Panesar, Danny Morrison, Venkatesh Prasad, and more, representing seven nations.

The Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium, a five-petaled sports arena with 3,500 seats across four galleries, stands as a symbol of global unity. Notably, players from the unforgettable 1983 Cricket World Cup team will be present, adding a nostalgic touch to this momentous occasion.

Former cricketer Dr. Sunil Gavaskar, batting not with a cricket bat but for the cause of the needy served by the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission, expressed his enthusiasm, calling it "the best innings in his life." Emphasizing the power of sports to unite people, Gavaskar highlighted the unique friendship match's aim to draw attention to pressing social issues.

Sachin Tendulkar is making a return to the sport, and Yuvraj Singh will lead their teams not just for the thrill of cricket but for a noble cause. The 'One World One Family Cup' aims to provide free values-based education to more than 5,000 rural students, embodying the spirit of 'vasudhaiva kuṭumbakam.'

Beyond the boundary lines, the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission has already made significant contributions, performing over 28,000 free pediatric cardiac surgeries and providing daily nutrition to more than 3 million schoolchildren in rural India. The 'One World One Family Cup' is not just a game; it's a new awakening to the feeling of oneness through sports.
