The day that has been eagerly anticipated by everyone has finally arrived, with the unveiling of the legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar's life-sized statue set to take place at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, November 1st.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, BCCI Treasurer Ashish Shelar, and Sachin Tendulkar himself will be there in the iconic stadium today to reveal the statue.

Meanwhile, PTI has confirmed that Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) President Amol Kale, Secretary Ajinkya Naik, and several other members of the Apex Council will also join the event, alongside the aforementioned dignitaries.

A life-size statue of Sachin Tendulkar, often hailed as the son of Mumbai, will capture him playing one of his iconic shots and will be placed adjacent to the Sachin Tendulkar stand. This impressive work of art is crafted by Pramod Kamble, an accomplished painter and sculptor from Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district.

It has been precisely ten years since Sachin Tendulkar's farewell match in Mumbai, and today his statue will stand at Wankhede Stadium, where he scored a plethora of runs. Initially, the plan was to reveal the iconic piece of work on his 50th birthday, but it was delayed as the finishing details were being perfected.
