One of India's biggest cricketing sensations, Virat Kohli might be going through some challenges at the moment however they can never takeover on the 36-year-old's cricketing legacy. The chase-master might be silent for now but not for longer as he is all set to make another record in the upcoming three-match ODI series against England.

Virat Kohli equalled Sachin Tendulkar's record with his 49th ODI century, and is once again destined to eclipse the legendary ex-India star with a new record. Kohli, currently is only 94 runs away to become the fastest to 14,000 ODI runs. 

Interestingly, he has the next 66 innings to achieve this feat however he would be aiming to utilise the forthcoming series to the best and with the home-advantage, make another historic achievement.

Kohli To Surpass Tendulkar-Sangakkara 

Presently, Sachin Tendulkar is the fastest player to 14,000 ODI runs, achieving the milestone in 350 innings against Pakistan in Peshawar on 6th February 2006. Kumar Sangakkara follows him, as he reached 14,000 runs in 378 innings, during a game against Australia in Sydney on 8th March 2015. If Kohli slams 94 runs, he will be achieving this record in significantly lesser innings.
