The auction for the inaugural edition of South Africa's T20 league, SA20, is done and dusted with all the six franchises acquiring some of the best T20 mavericks for eye-popping sums. 

The Johannesburg-based franchise of Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited (CSKCL) was one of the teams that garnered many eyeballs with their interesting purchases.  

Ahead of the auction, they signed in their old mates and experienced T20 campaigners Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali while the likes of Maheesh Theekshana, Romario Shepherd, and Gerald Coetzee were their final three pre-auction acquisitions.

Having entered the auction with a purse amount of 20.74 million ZAR, the sister franchise of Chennai Super Kings, Johannesburg Super Kings churned out some interesting signings on Monday.
