In a significant development, Durban Supergiants (DSG) have hired former South African speedster Morne Morkel as their bowling coach.

Morkel has represented South Africa in 86 Tests, 117 ODIs and 44 T20Is, in which he has scalped 309, 188 and 47 wickets respectively. Alongside the legendary Dale Steyn, the tall right-arm pacer formed one of the most lethal bowling pairs to ever grace the game.

With all his skills and experience, Morkel is expected to guide the DSG bowlers to perfection and take the franchise to new heights.

Durban Supergiants have drafted Quinton De Kock, Jason Holder, Kyle Mayers, Reece Topley and Prenelan Subreyan as their first five picks.

The SA20 draft is scheduled to take place today from 5.30 PM IST onwards. It will be telecasted live on Sony Sports Network.
