Northamptonshire vs Glamorgan
Hosts Northamptonshire trashed defending champions Glamorgan with utmost disdain at Northampton’s County Ground. The Northants openers, Ricardo Vasconcelos and Emilio Gay, shared a 188-run first-wicket alliance to overhaul much of the Glamorgan’s 221-run total.
Vasconcelos charted a run-a-ball ton while his partner clubbed a 76-ball 81 before Rob Keogh and Lewis McManus guided their side through the run-chase. Glamorgan spinner Kiran Carlson picked all four of the wickets that fell in the Northants response, but it did not prevent his side from escaping a six-wicket defeat.
