As many as four Group A matches of the 2022 Royal London One-Day Cup were played out on August 14. Here is a look at the high points from each of those fixtures.

Leicestershire vs Warwickshire

Leicestershire battered and bruised the visiting Warwickshire at Grace Road to jump to number two on the Group A points table.

The hosts piled up 338-8 on the back of crafty half-centuries by Louis Kimber, Wiaan Mulder and Harry Swindells. For Warwickshire, Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya collected three wickets from his 10-over spell in the high-scoring Leicestershire innings.

The Warwickshire innings remained foggy throughout their run-chase. Losing wickets in succession, they eventually ended their response at just 207 to hand a 131-run huge win to the hosts.

Nottinghamshire vs Durham

Liam Trevaskis anchored Durham’s innings with his unbeaten 59. Contributions from Nic Maddinson and Scott Borthwick came in handy in their side’s paltry 226-run total.

Later, hosts Nottinghamshire overhauled Durham's score to win the match with two wickets and two overs to spare, with Matthew Montgomery top-scoring in the run-chase with his 54.

Somerset vs Middlesex

Hundreds from Matt Renshaw and James Rew boosted Somerset’s total to an overwhelming 335-6 off their 50 overs.

The Middlesex’ response featured a rapid ton from Pieter Malan and identical 70s from Sam Robson and Max Holden. With handy contributions from the lower-order, the visitors eventually dragged themselves beyond the Somerset total to secure a thrilling one-wicket win at Taunton.

Sussex vs Surrey

Sussex captain and India’s batting talisman Cheteshwar Pujara charted his second successive List A hundred and his highest score in the format through his powering 174 against Surrey.

The cricketer belted 20 boundaries and five sixes in the process, as he continued his dominant run for Sussex this summer. Tom Clark also piled up 104 as the hosts reached 378 in their 50 overs.

Despite featuring two half-centurions in the innings, the visitors folded up for just 162 to hand Sussex a big win at Hove.
