Rift between Dravid and Samson? [Source: @mandakini_/x.com]
Nothing is going right at the moment for the Rajasthan Royals as the team looks divided and that reflects on their performances on the field. The team has been tottering at the 8th position in the points table and the season has been topsy-turvy for the Sanju Samson led side.
Rift between Samson and Dravid?
In their last IPL 2025 Match against Delhi Capitals, RR made schoolboy errors and lost the match in the Super Over from a winning situation. The team looks disjointed and a viral video proves the point.
Just before the Super Over contest, RR head coach Rahul Dravid is giving some pep talk to the entire lot, but Samson was not listening anything as he was roaming around casually and ignored what the coach was saying. He also gave a hand gesture, which indicated his rudeness towards Dravid.

RR's decision-making questioned
RR made some tactical blunders and lost the match against DC from a winning spot. They were going strong in the chase, and in the last over, RR needed 9 off 6 balls, but Starc bowled the over of his life as the Pink Army failed to chase down the total and the match went to Super over.
In the Super over, instead of sending in-form Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana to bat, they proceeded with Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer and it back-fired. Then, during their bowling in Super Over, RR and Dravid went ahead with Sandeep Sharma instead of Jofra Archer which perhaps annoyed Samson.
