Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their first IPL trophy in 2025 after beating PBKS in the final. The team arrived in Bengaluru to celebrate the historic victory, and the fans didn’t disappoint as they turned up in huge numbers.
On the night of the final, RCB defended 190 runs against PBKS to win their maiden IPL title. The wait of 17 years finally came to an end as the franchise ended its trophy drought.
Meanwhile, to celebrate the historic victory with the home fans, team RCB touched down in Bengaluru on June 4 amidst the sea of fans.

Newly-crowned IPL champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru received a hero’s welcome as they arrived in Bengaluru on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
The Rajat Patidar-led squad was greeted at the airport by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, with fans lining the streets to cheer for their favourite stars.
The streets were jammed, and traffic came to a standstill as fans turned up in giant numbers to witness and be a part of the celebrations.

The celebrations will continue at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where RCB will participate in a fan engagement programme.
The team urged fans to follow police guidelines for a safe celebration, as visuals of thousands cheering Kohli and company went viral across social media platforms.
However, things got chaotic outside the stadium as the crowd was uncontrollable. It led to a stampede where many people were feared dead. As a result, the organisers decided to cancel the open bus parade, and the team went directly to the Chinnaswamy ground.
