The Champions Trophy 2025 is just around the corner and India have named a strong squad for the mega event, set to commence on February 19. The Men in Blue are one of the favourites and one of the pivotal reason for that is the depth in the all-rounders' department, with the likes of Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja hogging the limelight.

All the Indian stars after a miserable Australian tour were asked to play Ranji Trophy matches, and while Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli represented Mumbai and Delhi respectively, another senior star, Ravindra Jadeja is quietly honing his skills for Saurashtra at the moment. The wily all-rounder had a brilliant comeback in the Ranji Trophy, however, in the game against Assam, he didn't bowl a single over in the combined two innings.

Interestingly, the all-rounder played his part with the bat in the first innings, but didn't came to bowl as Saurashtra only used 4 bowlers who did the job for the team.

Is Ravindra Jadeja injured?

There were eyebrows raised when Jadeja didn't bowl a single over and many believed that the all-rounder is injured. However, as per TOI, Jadeja is fit enough and wasn't seen during the Assam batting as a precautionary measure ahead of the Champions Trophy.

Plus, the Saurashtra side already had two left-arm spinner and Jadeja wanted the youngsters to bowl as many overs as they can to prepare for the upcoming Ranji quarters. Saurashtra thumped Assam in a one-sided battle as the team defeated the Assam side by an innings and 144 runs to reach the quarter finals of the Ranji Trophy.
