On Saturday, October 12, India hammered Bangladesh to whitewash the T20I series 3-0. The Men in Blue registered a mammoth 133-run victory over The Tigers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

The Suryakumar Yadav-led side, batting first, put 297/6 on the board, the highest-ever T20I total by a full member. Sanju Samson scored a century and also won the player of the match award for his feat.

In the bowling, Ravi Bishnoi, India's only change in the 3rd T20I, was the pick of the bowlers for this three-wicket haul. Bishnoi, who was playing his first game of the series, registered the figures of 3/30 in his four overs, which helped India restrict Bangladesh to just 164 runs.

Ravi Bishnoi Goes Past Arshdeep

With the feat, Bishnoi entered history books as he became the youngest Indian to take 50 T20I wickets. Ravi has had an illustrious T20I career so far, as he took 51 wickets in just 33 games and is already the 10th leading wicket-taker for India in T20Is.

He surpassed Arshdeep Singh to become the youngest Indian bowler to 50 T20I wickets. Ravi was 24 years and 37 days old when he reached the milestone. Meanwhile, Singh achieved the same at the age of 24 years and 196 days. Jasprit Bumrah is third on the list as he was 25 years and 80 days old when he took his 50th wicket in a T20I match.

Bishnoi Reflects On His Milestone

"Feeling great with this (50 T20I wickets) small milestone. It is good pressure when you have healthy competition in the team. I wanted to make the most of this opportunity. It feels good to see the game from the outside as well. You need to work on yourself and work on things accordingly. I had a break for a few days, so I tried to make the most of it," Ravi said after the game.
