The injury woes for Punjab Kings just continue to get severe with each passing day as another big player from the Punjab squad has suffered an injury. In a game against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, Bhanuka Rajapaksa got hit on his right forearm in the 11th over. It was Dhawan who cracked a strong shot which hit Rajapaksa on his right forearm before the left-hander could get off the way at the non-striker's end.

After the blow, Rajapaksa was seen in a lot of pain and despite the best efforts from the physio, had to walk off the field.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa was batting on only one when he got hit and had faced just a single ball after Punjab got off to a flier courtesy an opening stand of 90 between Prabhsimran Singh and Shikhar Dhawan. It remains to be seen whether Rajapaksa takes any further part in the game against RR and at the time of writing, PBKS are 162-3 in the 17th over.

Punjab Kings are already missing English Superstars, Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone due to an injury and they would be hoping that Rajapaksa's injury is not serious and he continues to be part of their plans in the ongoing game against RR and in the future.
