Mohammad Ali’s Unwanted Spell

As the Pakistan Super League has returned with its 10th edition, Peshawar Zalmi faced Quetta Gladiators in their inaugural match, which turned out to be a forgettable one. While bowling first, the Zalmi bowlers struggled to dominate the opponent batters. Amidst this, Peshawar Zalmi bowler Mohammad Ali hit another rock point of his career.

While bowling in the first innings, he conceded 57 runs in 4 overs and ended up wicketless. That tough spell earned him the dubious distinction of recording the second-worst bowling figures for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL history, surpassing Amad Butt’s 0/56. Azmatullah Omarzai is leading the unwanted list with a forgettable spell of 0/62.

To make matters worse, his dismal figures also placed him as the joint 11th on the list of worst bowling spells in PSL history.
