The Test series will mark England’s first ever Test in Rawalpindi, which has previously staged 12 matches with the home side winning five and losing just three.

PCB Director International Cricket Zakir Khan hopeful that both sides will play competitive and exciting cricket during the series.

“We are pleased that Pakistan and England Test rivalry, which has historically produced close and tight matches, will return to our backyards in December,” Zakir was quoted as saying in a PCB press release.
