The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the updated Future Tours Programme (FTP) for 2023-2025, including the addition of 10 extra T20Is against New Zealand. This decision aims to provide optimal preparation for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2024.

In consultation with Cricket West Indies (CWI) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC), slight modifications have been made to the FTP schedule.

Consequently, the two ICC World Test Championship (WTC) matches against the West Indies, initially planned for February 2024 in Pakistan, will now occur in January 2025. Similarly, Pakistan's tour to New Zealand, originally scheduled for January 2025, has been rescheduled to April 2025.

Following their participation in three ICC World Test Championship matches in Australia from December 14 to January 7, Pakistan will travel to New Zealand for a five-match T20I series, acting as a catalyst for their T20 World Cup preparations.

These matches are set to take place from January 12 to 21. In return, New Zealand will visit Pakistan in April 2024 for five T20Is to fill the vacant window. Further details regarding the series will be disclosed closer to the time.

As a result of these additional fixtures, Pakistan will engage in a total of 19 T20Is in the build-up to the T20 World Cup, including matches against New Zealand, the Netherlands, Ireland, and England. Moreover, the PCB will organize its own intense HBL Pakistan Super League in February and March 2024.

The revised FTP for Pakistan's men's cricket team in the period of 2023-2025 features a comprehensive schedule. Notably, all Tests played during this period will contribute towards the World Test Championship.

The 2023-24 season encompasses tours to Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Australia, along with the ODI Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup in India.

For the 2024-25 season, series against Bangladesh, England, Australia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand, and Bangladesh are scheduled, including the T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies, the Champions Trophy in Pakistan, and various bilateral series.
