The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) X is set to dazzle fans with a star-packed commentary lineup, headlined by former England captain Sir Alastair Cook’s debut behind the mic. The 34-match tournament, kicking off on 11 April in Rawalpindi and culminating in Lahore’s final on 18 May, will feature voices from cricket legends across the globe.
The panel will also include Mark Nicholas, Dominic Cork, Lisa Sthalekar, and Pakistan’s iconic quartet of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Ramiz Raja, and Aamir Sohail.
PSL Introduces World Class Commentary Alongside Urdu Panel For 10th Season
In a landmark move, HBL PSL X will introduce full-match Urdu commentary for the first time, featuring analysts like Salman Butt and Marina Iqbal. The blend of international stalwarts and local legends aims to elevate the fan experience, bridging global appeal with regional resonance across Karachi, Multan, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
“This year, for the first time in HBL PSL history, we will be broadcasting a full match entirely in Urdu commentary – a move that brings us even closer to our passionate fanbase across Pakistan. We are confident that the combination of iconic voices and fresh innovations will enhance the viewing experience for fans at home and around the world," said HBL PSL CEO Salman Naseer on the commentary revolution.

With innovations like Urdu broadcasts and a mix of cricketing royalty, HBL PSL X aims to cement its status as a global T20 spectacle. For the unaware, the first match of the league has been scheduled between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi on April 11.
