In his reaction, PCB's director of high performance, Mr Nadeem Khan, said that the schedule has been prepared to ensure competitive and challenging cricket in the domestic circuit, simultaneously providing the budding players the opportunity to showcase their skills on the big stage.

“Making the domestic events competitive and challenging, while continuing to provide maximum opportunities to our talented cricketers to demonstrate their talent and help them graduate to the higher level, was the mainstay of our thought process when we finalized the upcoming domestic season calendar,” Khan said.
