Hailing from Bihar, Vaibhav Suryavanshi grabbed the attention from the auction table as he became the youngest player to grab an IPL contract at the age of just 13. But he justified the brave move by RR by smashing his maiden IPL hundred in the last match against the Gujarat Titans.

While chasing down the total, Suryavanshi smashed the thrilling ton in 35 balls and built and 166-run opening partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal. After the stunning knock, the praises came all the way for him but his emotional post-match call with his father stole the spotlight.

As the Rajasthan Royals posted the video, the franchise’s media team asked the youngster, “Pehela call kisko karoga?” Without wasting a minute, Suryavanshi answered, “Pehela call papa ko hi karunga off-course.”

The emotion was visible on his face as, just after his father picked up the call, the youngster said, “Papa Parnaam” After that, RR’s manager was seen congratulating Vaibhav’s father. That emotional father-son moment has stolen millions of hearts.

With that stunning ton, Vaibhav Suryavanshi shattered the IPL records book. After scoring the ton in just 35 deliveries, he surpassed former Indian batter Yusuf Pathan and scored the fastest IPL century as an Indian player. From experts, former cricket greats to Bollywood actors, the 14-year-old boy won millions of hearts with his spectacular innings.
