A lot of drama is surrounding the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 match between Pakistan and the UAE, as there is no clarity whether the ICC or ACC has adhered to PCB's request. Notably, following the handshake saga against India, the Men in Green have threatened to boycott the Asia Cup if match referee Andy Pycrott is not removed.
The PCB is deeply angered by the recent activities which have gone against them, but the ACC has yet to take their demands seriously. The fans are confused whether the match will go ahead as planned because there is no official press release regarding any sort of change in the match referee's position.
ACC's Latest Social Media Activity Sparks Debate
Amid the wait for the Pakistan vs UAE game, the ACC provided a ray of hope when they put out a tweet regarding the upcoming clash. "All to play for, all on the line for Pakistan and UAE. It's a do-or-die for both teams," read ACC's tweet.
Much to fans' disappointment, the Asian Cricket Council quickly deleted the tweet, which left the fans guessing that it might hint towards a possible boycott. The internet quickly buzzed with ACC's latest social media activity.

What Would Boycotting the UAE Match Mean for Pakistan?
It is a do-or-die game for Pakistan as the Men in Green are placed second on the table with a win in two matches, but so are the UAE. Notably, if the Men in Green decide to boycott, then they will crash out of the league.
Boycotting would mean, giving two points to UAE and with four points in three matches, UAE and Iran will qualify to super four.
