Indian star, Sanju Samson has come under scrutiny for his poor performance in the on-going India versus England and if his luck does not turn, he could very well join Virat Kohli in an unwanted list. In the upcoming 4th T20I, Sanju Samson stands at the brink of joining Kohli in the list of Indian batters with most ducks in T20Is.

Will Sanju Join Kohli In List?

Rohit Sharma tops the list with 151 innings and 12 ducks, followed by Virat Kohli with 117 innings and 7 ducks. Sanju Samson has played 36 innings, accumulating 6 ducks, while KL Rahul has appeared in 72 innings with 5 ducks followed by more batters.

Samson's Form A Big Sign Of Cause

After having a remarkable conclusion to 2024, where Sanju became the first batter to slam three tons in T20Is in a calendar year. Samson's recent outing is not vouching in his favour, having accumulated 34 runs from three T20Is against Jos Buttler's England.

While Sanju's performance hangs by a thread, he is guaranteed to feature in the remaining two T20Is since India have not named any back-up opener in the squad.
