NZ vs NED | 3rd ODI | Match Preview, Predictions, Fantasy XI

The Netherlands' tour of New Zealand will come to an end on Monday when the two teams face off for the final time in the third ODI of the series, scheduled at Seddon Park, Hamilton.

As New Zealand have already won the first two ODIs of the series, the upcoming game will be a dead rubber. However, both teams still have a lot to play for.

While the Netherlands have looked completely out of sorts so far, they will eye a solitary win to take something out of this tour. They brought the Kiwi top-order to their knees in the last game, but the New Zealand skipper Tom Latham decimated them with ease, and his hundred clinched the series in favour of the Black Caps then and there.

Fred Klaassen and Logan van Beek fared brilliantly with the ball, claiming three and four wickets, respectively. They have the experience of playing in the New Zealand conditions and brought that to their advantage.

On the other hand, New Zealand will aim to give a fairytale farewell to Ross Taylor, who will be playing his final international game tomorrow. The Tom Latham-led side has been top-notch in the series so far and would expect their batters and bowlers to replicate the same performance.

On the bowling front, New Zealand found a match-winner in the form of Michael Bracewell in the second ODI as he took three important wickets. The rest of the bowlers as well made some mark in the wicket-tally and added to their side's victory.

Pitch Report:

As seen in the series, the pitch at Seddon Park, Hamilton, will provide assistance to the bowlers in the early overs. The new ball does a lot of lateral movement. However, the help for them will reduce, and the batters are likely to dominate with the progression of the match.
