In a significant development, Mumbai have confirmed their squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy quarter final against Haryana. Led by Ajinkya Rahane, Mumbai will take on Haryana in the all-important quarter-final of the Ranji Trophy on February 8.

Suryakumar, Shivam Dube Join Mumbai's Ranji Trophy Squad

Swashbuckling batter Suryakumar Yadav and experienced all-rounder Shivam Dube have joined the Mumbai squad for the quarterfinal game against Haryana. Notably, Surya and Dube were a part of India's T20I team, which recently emerged victorious by a comprehensive 4-1 margin against England on home soil.

These two players' inclusion has certainly strengthened Mumbai as they prepare for the high-octane quarter final after swatting aside Meghalaya by an innings and 456 runs in their final group stage encounter.

It's worth mentioning that the likes of Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer won't participate in this game, as they will represent the Indian team in the ODI series against England.

So, apart from Surya and Dube, Mumbai will pretty much rely on Rahane, Ayush Mhatre, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Hardik Tamore to put up an impressive show with the bat. Meanwhile, Shardul Thakur, Shams Mulani, Tanush Kotian and Mohit Avasthi will play significant roles for the 42-time champions, as they have showcased prolific form in the Ranji Trophy.
