India's Highest Successful Run Chase In ODIs In Dubai

India have won six ODIs while chasing at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Their first victory came against Pakistan back in 2018, when they defeated their arch-rivals by eight wickets in a low-scoring affair.

Five of the six matches have witnessed India's dominance while chasing in Dubai. Their one match that involved multiple twists and turns was against Bangladesh, as the Men in Blue claimed a three-wicket victory.

Now, coming to our topic, India's highest successful run-chase in Dubai came against arch-rivals Pakistan in their second group-stage match of the Champions Trophy. Batting first, Pakistan posted 241 runs on the board. In response, India chased down the total successfully, swatting aside their opponents by six wickets.

What Happened In IND vs AUS 1st Half?

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Australia had a forgettable start to their innings, losing Cooper Connolly for a nine-ball duck. However, Travis Head's quick-fire cameo and sensational knocks from skipper Steve Smith and keeper-batter Alex Carey ensured a defendable total for them.

Smith hammered 73 runs, while Carey played a gem of an innings, scoring 61 runs off just 57 deliveries. So, India will have to bat out of their skins in order to enter the final of the competition.
