Mosaddek Hossain becomes fourth Bangladesh bowler to take a T20I five-for

Right-arm off-spinner Mosaddek Hossain scripted history on Sunday (July 31) as he became just the fourth Bangladeshi bowler to grab a five-wicket-haul in international T20s.

The 26-year-old achieved the feat in the second T20I against hosts Zimbabwe in Harare.

Batting first, Zimbabwe were dealt with dual body-blows in the first over of their innings as Hossain knocked over wicketkeeper Regis Chakabva for a golden duck before sending Wesley Madhevere back on the last delivery of the over.

Mosaddek didn't stop here as he backed it up the prized scalp of Zimbabwe skipper Craig Ervine in his next over before backing it up dismissals of Sean Williams and Milton Shumba to leave the home side gasping for breath at 31/5 in the 7th over.

Hossain eventually finished with figures of 5/20 in four overs to join Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman and Elias Sunny in the five-wicket-haul club in T20Is for this country.

Prior to this game, the off-spinner had taken only seven wickets in his 19-game career. Apart from claiming 5 wickets in this match, he also delivered 15 dot balls.
