Beth Mooney created yet another record when she slammed an unbeaten 151 off just 140 deliveries, registering the highest individual score by a West Aussie in the Women's National Cricket League history.

Thanks to her stellar knock, WA posted 297 against ACT and won the game by 117 runs on Sunday. The previous highest score was registered by Elyse Villani (142).

The former Queenslander batter stitched an opening partnership of 99 alongside Chloe Piparo, and the duo laid a strong foundation for the middle order batters to capitalise on.

Chasing a mammoth total, ACT were bundled out for just 180, with Alana King continuing her red-hot form with the ball. The wily spinner bagged 3 crucial wickets and she now has 8 wickets in just 2 WNCL games this season.

With this victory, WA have made it two in two this season and will look to continue their hot streak when they clash against New South Wales on Friday.
