Marco Jansen named for the T20 World Cup 2022

Marco Jansen has replaced injured Dwaine Pretorius in the South Africa World Cup squad. The young left armer who was earlier a part of the reserves will now be a part of the main squad. Lizaad Williams will take his place as a travelling reserve.

Dwaine Pretorius was ruled out of the T20 World Cup ahead of the 1st ODI against India due to a fracture on his left thumb. 

The absence of the all-rounder was considered as a major blow for the South African team but the Proteas seem to have found a trustworthy replacement in Marco Jansen.
