Bengaluru Blasters will be keen to continue their winning run in the ongoing Maharaja T20 Trophy as they take on Gulbarga Mystics in the 21st match of the tournament, set to be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Thursday, August 18.  

Bengaluru Blasters have had a rollicking season so far in the ongoing T20 extravaganza. The Mayank Agarwal-led outfit has won five games while losing just two of their overall seven fixtures. 

They are coming into Thursday's fixture after winning their most recent encounter against the bottom-placed Shivamogga Strikers by 25 runs. 

Gulbarga Mystics, on the other hand, have won three of their six league stage games and are currently placed fourth in the points rankings. They won their previous fixture against Hubli Tigers by five wickets. 

It is going to be the second face-off between these two teams. The last time they met in the tournament, Bengaluru Blasters emerged victorious by 54 runs.

Skipper Mayank Agarwal has led the Bengaluru Blasters from the front, amassing 297 runs in seven matches at an average of 49.50 and strike rate of 176.79. 

Chethan LR has been the second most impressive batter for the Blasters. He has so far accumulated 241 runs in seven innings at an average of 40.17 and a strike rate of 168.53.

Rishi Bopanna is the joint second highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 10 wickets in seven matches at an economy of 6.78 and strike rate of 18.
