After witnessing some high-class matches in the ongoing Legends League Cricket, the league's organisers have disclosed the venue for the tournament finals. Barabati Stadium in Cuttack has been handed over the responsibility to host the grand finale on October 5.

Five venues are already hosting the event, among which Cuttack is already a part, namely Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi and Jodhpur. Cuttack will also host three matches in the league from 26th to 29th September.

Four teams led by Indian stalwarts Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan are competing to lift the trophy of the legends. Some commendable performances have been recorded with Kevin O'Brien and Ashley Nurse, already among the centurions.

Legends League rising on the Ratings

With the league doing very well on the TRP charts, its co-founder and CEO, Raman Raheja, seemed impressed with the response it has generated. He said:

"We have received a tremendous response both from the in-stadium audience and TV ratings. We have got the TV ratings for the first match. We have outdone ourselves... It is five times higher than last season in terms of ratings."

With 16 million unique views, the league has been generating tremendous interest among fans and is expected to grow further.
