The stage is set for all-important Qualifier 2 as Gujarat Titans (GT) take on Mumbai Indians (MI)  at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The rain delayed the proceedings and created more nervousness but it could delay the toss by just 45 minutes and it is MI who have won the toss and elected to bowl first.

MI are coming into this game with a dominating victory over LSG in the Eliminator while Hardik Pandya and his boys lost their Qualifier 1 to CSK after topping the league stage. It was quite clear that the team winning the toss would bowl first given the overcast conditions and rain around and let's see how MI bowlers go about their business.

Playing XIs and Impact Players for MI and GT

Mumbai Indians Playing XI: Rohit Sharma (c), Ishan Kishan (wk), Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Tim David, Chris Jordan, Piyush Chawla, Jason Behrendorff, Kumar Kartikeya, Akash Madhwal

Gujarat Titans Playing XI: Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Shubman Gill, B Sai Sudharsan, Vijay Shankar, Hardik Pandya (c), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Mohit Sharma, Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, Mohammad Shami

Impact Substitutes of Gujarat Titans: Joshua Little, Srikar Bharat, Odean Smith, R Sai Kishore, Shivam Mavi

Impact Substitutes of Mumbai Indians: Nehal Wadhera, Raghav Goyal, Vishnu Vinod, Sandeep Warrier, Ramandeep Singh

Mumbai have made one change with Hrithik Shokeen out and Kumar Kartikeya replacing him. They will bring in Nehal Wadhera as their impact player most probably while batting second. For GT, Josh Little will be back in the XI when GT bowls as Dasun Shanaka is dropped from the side. Sai Sudharsan comes back into XI and he will bat at 3.

Let's see which team comes out on top at the end of this encounter. Remember, the winner of this game will face CSK in the final of IPL 2023 at the same ground on Sunday, 28th of May.
