Angelo Mathews Test Career And Stats
Renowned for his stoic technique and elegant stroke-play, Angelo Mathews made his Test debut for Sri Lanka against Pakistan in Galle way back in 2009. He formed the backbone of the Sri Lankan batting lineup along with Dinesh Chandimal following the retirements of Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara.
Despite frequent injury setbacks limiting his bowling abilities, Mathews contributed handsomely to the Lankan batting unit, scripting numerous memorable wins for the Island Nation in Tests.
