South African batting prodigy Dewald Brevis has sparked widespread speculation about a possible mid-season IPL 2025 entry after posting a mysterious all-yellow image on his Instagram story.
The post, void of any caption or context, has led fans to believe that the young batter could be joining the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who are struggling to stay in the tournament.

The timing of Brevis’s post has only fueled the buzz further. Days after securing a contract with Hampshire Cricket, the former MI batter may now be en route to don the yellow jersey of CSK.
Adding to the speculation, CSK has one overseas slot open and a potential replacement spot for Ruturaj Gaikwad, who has been ruled out of the season due to injury. With MS Dhoni back at the helm, and Chennai seeking firepower in the middle order, Brevis known for his aggressive stroke play-could be the 'X-factor' they need.
