IPL 2022 | RCB vs GT | Match 67 Preview, Prediction, Probable XI, CREX XI

The three-time runners-up Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), will take on the league leaders Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 67th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, on Thursday evening (May 19).

It is a crucial game for the Faf du Plessis-led side as their hopes for the playoff berth highly rely on this game. A win on Thursday would take RCB to 16 points, but that might not be enough as they also need a few favourable results from Delhi Capitals to make things work for them.

Rishabh Pant-led side, who are currently placed at the fourth spot, can also reach 16 points if they manage to beat Mumbai Indians in their next match and become the leading contender to qualify for playoffs, owing to their better net run rate than RCB.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are coming into this game on the back of a 54-run defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings and would be looking to bounce back stronger and claim two crucial points.

Coming to Gujarat Titans now, they have been terrific in their debut season, winning 10 of their 13 games and becoming the first team to qualify for the playoffs. They won their previous match against the defending champions by 7 wickets and must be aiming to keep their winning momentum intact before heading into the crucial games.
