  • Ipl 2022 Arshdeep Singh Still Not Satisfied With His Ipl 2022 Stats

IPL 2022 | Arshdeep Singh still not satisfied with his IPL 2022 stats

Arshdeep Singh is a left-arm pacer for Punjab Kings (PBKS) and has been one of the standout performers for his team. Even though Arshdeep has scalped just three wickets from nine matches in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 till now, the left-arm pacer has bowled some great incantation during the death overs and has choked the opposition.

Consequently, several cricket experts and fans have overwhelmingly called for the pacer’s inclusion in the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup scheduled to be played in Australia later this year.

Nonetheless, Arshdeep will be required to give more such performances to board the flight to Australia. The 23-year old has also revealed that he is never quite satisfied with his performance, and in the upcoming matches, he is willing to perform well.

Speaking during the post-match presentation after Punjab Kings lost by 20 runs to Lucknow Super Giants on Friday, Arshdeep said, “I am happy, but a sportsperson is never satisfied. Grateful to be able to perform for the team whenever I am getting the opportunity.”

“I don’t focus on individual performances because it is a team game. You just need to perform the role you have been assigned. My plan has always been to a bowl in good areas and lets the batter make mistakes, and in death overs, I just try to keep things simple,” Singh further stated.

Arshdeep is yet to make his debut for India while he was with the touring party during India’s white ball tour of Sri Lanka in July 2021. However, PBKS’ second retained player has had noteworthy performances in his short but sound IPL career.

The Kings are currently placed seventh on the IPL points table with four wins in nine matches. The Kings will take on the new entrants, Gujarat Titans, in their group stage match, which will be played this Tuesday, May 3.
