On December 3, 2025, defending champions India unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026. Co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the marquee event will be played in February-March next year.

In the presence of the former India captain Rohit Sharma and the star of India's Asia Cup 2025 triumph, Tilak Varma, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the first glimpse of the new and improved kit India.

With that said, let's look at the difference and details of India's new T20 jersey ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

India's 2026 T20 World Cup jersey vs 2024 T20 World Cup jersey?

The recently staged Indian jersey features a dominant deep blue base, accented by vibrant orange panels along the sides. Moreover, the design change is quite notable compared to India's previous T20 World Cup kit in 2024. As the tricolour has been shifted to the collar, vertical blue stripes add texture across the front.

Speaking about the new kit, Rohit, who lifted the T20 World Cup trophy earlier this year in Barbados, said that it symbolises “belief and responsibility.” India will enter the tournament as the definite favourites, hoping to secure back-to-back T20 titles. Hence, Sharma's two-word comment resonates with the sentiments commonly shared across the nation.

New sponsor and a different jersey partner star on India's fresh kit

Apollo tyres feature as the new jersey sponsor of the Indian Cricket Team, replacing Dream11. The new deal, which began in September 2025, runs until March 2028 and covers the men's and women's teams across all formats of the game.

The Indian multinational tyre manufacturer acquired the deal for ₹579 Crores. Apollo staved off challenges from Canva and JK Cements, who had placed bids of INR 544 crore and INR 477 crore, respectively.

Apart from that, Adidas continues as the official jersey manufacturer, with a contract running until 2028.

How to buy India's new T20 jersey?

One can buy the new India cricket jersey from official sources like Adidas India's website, 'adidas.co.in' and BCCI.in as soon as the new kit becomes available to purchase.
