India is all set to tour Caribbean for an all-format tour of almost a month where they will play two Test matches, 3 ODIs and five T20Is. The tour will start with Test cricket and the first Test is scheduled to be begin on 12th of July. So, the Indian squad which is yet to be announced, is expected to land on Caribbean shores on 1st of July.

Also, the Indian squad will be announced soon which might include some new names like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Arshdeep Singh. According to the reports, BCCI wants Indian team to not make a similar mistake they made before WTC Final and get acclimatized to the conditions before they play Test cricket.

However, the Windies management face a conundrum due to ongoing World Cup Qualifier which is scheduled to end on 9th of July. West Indies are expected to reach the final which is necessary for qualifying in World Cup 2023 but we might not see their Test players playing the final of the Qualifier.

It will not be feasible for West Indies Test players to play the first Test on 12th of July if they play in the final of World Cup Qualifier on 9th of July.

The Cricket West Indies official has stated to cricbuzz that the final of the Cricket World Cup Qualifiers is meaningless and Test players won't participate in that game as reaching the final means that, the team has qualified for the World Cup to be held in India later in the year.
