The final day of the first Ashes Test is all set to unleash as rain has finally stopped at Edgbaston and after the inspection, the umpires have decided to start the game at 6.45 PM IST. The match is quite evenly poised with Australia needing 174 more runs to win and England requiring  seven wickets to grab a sensational win. The first session is washed out now and both teams have 67 overs (Two sessions) to make a match out of it.

The post-Lunch session will last 2 hours and 15 minutes and go on till 9 p.m. The final session will start at 9.20 p.m. and last until 11.30 p.m., weather permitting. This Test is a part of the WTC Final, and both teams, after working so hard for four days, will look to end the Test match with a win.

The pitch is still decent enough to bat on and Australia look slightly ahead at the moment. However, with two quick wickets things can drift drastically towards England's side and a team that takes away the afternoon session will most probably win this game. A draw also is a big possibility though and let's hope for a thrilling finish.
