India to tour New Zealand after T20 WC; NZC announces jam-packed 2022-23 home season

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) announced a jam-packed 2022-23 home season for their men's and women's national teams.

The Kiwis will play a T20I triangular series against Bangladesh and Pakistan to prepare for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup scheduled for October-November in Australia.

India will embark on a 3-T20I and 3-ODI tour of New Zealand just a few days after the completion of the World Cup. The T20Is, which begin on November 18, will be played in Wellington, Tauranga, and Napier, while the ODIs that start on November 25 will spread across Auckland, Hamilton, and Christchurch.

Test cricket also finds its place in the schedule, as England is set to play a short 2-match series in February 2023, including a Pink-Ball match.

Ahead of the Tests against the Three Lions, New Zealand will visit South Asian shores for a tour of Pakistan and its neighbours India. The Pakistan tour continues its 2022 tour, which was cancelled for unforeseen reasons.

The Indian tour will most likely feature white-ball games.

Sri Lanka is also lined-up to visit New Zealand for a full-fledged tour comprising 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 3 T20Is in March 2023.

Lastly, the New Zealand women's team will be up against Bangladesh in a white-ball series starting December 2022.
