India are set to travel to South Africa for a four-match T20I series in November 2024, marking the second consecutive year the Indian men's team will tour South Africa.

The series, jointly announced by Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), promises to deliver thrilling cricket action between the two nations.

India To Play South Africa In Exciting T20I Series

The series will kick off on November 8 at Kingsmead, Durban. The teams will then move to Gqeberha for the second match on November 10, followed by games in Centurion on November 13, and Johannesburg on November 15.

Last year's T20I series between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw, with the game in Durban washed out by rain.

This year's series is highly anticipated by fans, with CSA Chairperson Lawson Naidoo expressing gratitude to the BCCI for their continued support.

"Any tour by the Indian cricket team to our shores is filled with amazing camaraderie and exciting cricket," Naidoo said.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah echoed this sentiment, highlighting the deep bond shared by the two cricketing nations.

"The Indian Cricket Team has consistently received immense appreciation and love from South African fans," Shah stated.

He expressed confidence that the upcoming series would showcase exceptional talent and deliver high-intensity contests.

This short assignment for India comes between their home Tests against New Zealand and their tour of Australia for the Border-Gavaskar series. Cricket fans can look forward to tickets going on sale on August 19, 2024.
