Rinku Singh seems to be the new face of Zomato’s billboard advertisement campaigns. As the cricketer continues to ply his trade for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2024, his face was spotted near a particular Indian highway on a poster.

Inscribing the commercial with a creative caption, the popular Indian food delivery company used Rinku’s finishing abilities with the bat as an allegory for the need of finishing a plate of biryani.

Rinku Singh, who was recently excluded from India’s primary T20 World Cup 2024 squad, has been taking the spotlight on Zomato billboards off late.

Apart from using Rinku’s picture, the Indian food delivery company also shared a riveting caption on their ad where they compared the importance of the cricketer’s finishing abilities with the bat and the need for finishing a plate of biryani.

Rinku Singh is currently in Mumbai as part of the travelling KKR group to face Mumbai Indians in match number 51 of the IPL 2024 season. Known for his blistering abilities with the bat, the cricketer has returned with underwhelming numbers so far for his team this year.

In eight innings of the season, Rinku has tallied only 123 runs at an average of 20.50 with a strike-rate of 150.

On April 30, the 26-year-old failed to find his name in India’s 15-player squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States next month. Instead, he was relegated as one of the travelling reserves alongside the likes of Shubman Gill.
