While India's Test captain Shubman Gill has been appointed as North Zone's skipper, the squad is also bolstered by the presence of renowned Indian pacers- Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana and Anshul Kamboj.
However, as Gill, Harshit and Arshdeep are in contention for the Asia Cup, the selection committee has also named their replacements if they get picked for the tournament. While Shubham Rohilla will replace Gill, Gurnoor Brar and Anuj Thakral will come in for Arshdeep and Harshit, respectively.

Gill recently had an outstanding time with the bat in England, emerging as India's most successful batter in the series. Overall, he struck 754 runs across five Tests, nearly missing out on Sunil Gavaskar's all-time record for the most runs by an Indian in a single series.
He was also instrumental to India's success as a captain, as his superb on-field tactics and ice-cool decision-making under pressure helped the visitors secure a historic draw on English soil.
North Zone begin their Duleep Trophy 2025-26 campaign with the quarter-final encounter against Ishan Kishan's East Zone on August 28.
