After the two-match Test series against South Africa, the red-ball team of India will be taking on England for the five-match Test series starting from the 25th of January at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. The Hyderabad Cricket Board has announced free entry tickets to the school kids and lunch to the government schools in Telangana for the first Test between India and England.

HCB announces free entry to Government school students along with packed lunch

It is a great initiative by the HCB to promote cricket among the school students and encourage them to support the Indian team. Not only this will help the kids take up the sport but also help in creating a positive impact of Test cricket in the minds of children. We have seen Mumbai Indians doing the same in the IPL, as they allow free entry to children every year in one of their home games.

Not just free entry, but HCB has also announced free lunch for the children and has asked interested schools to email their entries addressing the Chief Executive Officer, Rajiv Gandhi Stadium by the 18th of January.

This is the first time when the England team will be playing in India since they opted for the Bazball approach. The last time England did not have a good time, as Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin turned not just the ball but the fortunes of the Indian team and won games in three days.

It will be interesting to see how England uses their fiery approach in India on turning tracks but the students will enjoy all the fireworks and wickets when they will be cheering from the ground.
