The BCCI has unveiled their Rest of India squad for the upcoming Irani Cup. The high-profile contest will be played against the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy winners Saurashtra.
The match is a rescheduled event, suspended from its original slate owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Irani Cup returns as BCCI announces squad
An All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked a Rest of India squad for their one-off clash against Saurashtra.
The match will be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot between October 1 and October 5. It was originally set to be played back in March 2020 as part of the 2019-20 Indian domestic season.
The contest marks a return of the prestigious tournament after a gap of nearly three years. The rescheduled affair will also launch the 2022-23 domestic season in India.
