Fan Of Virat Kohli, Who Breached Security To Hug His Idol, Gets Felicitated

During the 2nd T20I against Afghanistan at Indore on Sunday, a Virat Kohli fan breached security and now has been felicitated by his friends.

Team India has an unassailable lead of 2-nil in the three-match series thus far. During the 2nd T20I at Indore, a fan managed to breach the security and went on to meet his idol in the field.

The clip has gone viral since it has surfaced across social media. The invader was seen hugging the Indian icon, Virat Kohli during play at Indore. Later, it was observed that he was dragged from the field by the security personnel after his gesture. The fan was later seen felicitated by his friends.

According to PTI, a police official stated that the Virat Kohli fan entered Holkar Stadium from Narendra Hirwani Gate and entered the field after climbing the fence of the spectators’ gallery. 


In the 2nd T20I versus Afghanistan, Gulbadin Naib starred with his impressive 57 off just 35 deliveries. Arshdeep Singh went on to take three wickets at an economy of 8 in his four overs.

Spinners Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel went on to take a couple of wickets each. Batting second, Yashashvi Jaiswal (68 off 34) and Shivam Dube (63* off 32) plundered the Afghan bowling lineup with their partnership.

India cruised to a six-wicket win and also conquered yet another bilateral T20I series win. The 3rd T20I is scheduled to be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bengaluru on January 17.
